Jio AirFiber Set to Debut on Ganesh Chaturthi in September

Reliance Jio has confirmed the launch of Jio AirFiber, a fixed wireless connectivity device. Jio has announced that the new device will be launched on Ganesh Chaturthi which is September 19.

“Today I am pleased to announce the launch of JioAirFiber on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on September 19, giving us a new avenue for customer value and revenue growth in the untapped domestic segment of India,” said Mukesh Ambani, Chairman, Reliance. Industries

Telcos are facing challenges to connect every point of the country and this is where Reliance Jio wants to offer Jio AirFiber to provide high speed connectivity. “JioAirFiber will use our pan-India 5G network and advanced wireless technologies to bypass the need for last-mile fiber,” the Reliance chairman highlighted.

He also pointed out that using Jio AirFiber, the company can provide up to 150,000 connections per day, enabling it to reach the market and more than 200 million high-income households in the next three years. Jio plans to use the existing wired JioFiber network and connect it to the Jio AirFiber device, which will provide high-speed Internet access to the home and office.

Thanks to the combination of JioFiber and JioAirFiber, our turnaround time to fulfill a customer’s order is one of the fastest in the world,” Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani pointed out in his service introduction speech.
